I finally got a decent amount of sleep last night. While I am still slightly tired, Compared to how tired I was yesterday, it is absolutely nothing, and so it is quite a good thing.

Chapel also was short today, which is good because for some reason it was also boring today. Go figure.

Oh, and you know that thing where somebody makes the little ircle with their hand and tries to make you look at it and if you do they punch you in the arm? Yeah… I’m physically incapable of not looking. Even if I am well aware of what they are doing, I still feel compelled to look and cannot do away with the need to look. Stupid Craig.

All right. I’m done.
Later.

Ok, so the time has finally arrived…. my cell phone has finally been replaced, and so you can reach me at my cell # once more. So… begin calling! right now!

“paint the target
we don’t need no evidence
flood the market
we do it all in self defense
you’re a smart kid
never work without your gloves
if you’re a smart kid
you’ll stay the hell away from love

and if it comes to murder
don’t tell and we won’t ask you how
you sleep at night when the lights go out
and you’re all alone
with all the ghosts of lesser humans
whose lives you’ve spilt to suit your own

sit and think of
all the dollars and the cents
and your blue blood
you’ll see it all makes perfect sense
drink from this cup
a better life awaits us all
you’re one of us
remember conscience comes before the fall

your actions all are justified
your actions all are justified

and if it comes to murder
don’t tell and we won’t ask you how
you sleep at night when the lights go out
and you’re all alone
with all the ghosts of lesser humans
whose lives you’ve spilt to suit your own
but don’t we all bleed red blood?
don’t we all bleed red blood?”

-“Don’t Tell And We Won’t Ask,” by Thrice

Well…. I think me and my roommate are going to have a little talk this afternoon. I am far too annoyed to do it right now without being mean…. 😛

Well, here it is, almost 3 am, and I am not really too tired. I have to
go to sleep sometime soon though…. because well… I have class
tomorrow (luckily not until noon). But… See, I was real tired
earlier, because my roommate woke me up early this morning playing
music, which really kind of ticked me off. But it is the first time he
has ever done it, so I think I’ll let it slide. Next time he gets
yelled at though. And if he doesn’t find himself a new cd to listen to
he will get yelled at too.. because I’m really starting to hate Mercy
Me. You know when you feel urges of murderous rage towards a band, that
you have heard their cd too much. But uhhh.. yeah, I don’t think this
band is good enough to warrant having played their cd 24/7 for like the
past week and a half or so.
Anyway, so yesterday was Disney Quest… we went there for Karen’s
birthday. It was pretty fun. But we were there too long for me,
personally. Ummm.. let’s see… for those who don’t know what it is,
you buy a ticket to go into the place, and inside there is a bunch of
different things… like… they have a bunch of arcade games that you
can play, which is really cool. The best arcade games there though are
the really old school ones. They have Galaga, and Galaxian… and these
Tron games…. and this old Star Wars game…. good stuff. Oh, and
Joust. That’s a good one. They also have Lunar Lander, which is a
really great game which I am really good at, but it was broken
yesterday, so I was sad about that.
There was also this really fun game with like.. these 5 bars that go
across the table thing it is on… and there are buttons at the end of
each bar on each side, and you have to bounce the light back and forth
across it, and try to get it through to the other person’s end. It is
way hard 😉 But a lot of fun. Played it several times with Ben, and won
at first… but.. then he started beating me, which was sad. (for me
anyway).
They also have some kind of VR type games there… like real immersive
almost-but-not-really ride type games…. Pirates of the Carribean was
a real good one. Oh, and the best thing there I think is the bumper car
things with the cannon on them 😉 Nothing like shooting at things.
There is also this “create your own roller coaster” thing, called Cyber
Space Mountain. I think it is really dumb, but other people seem to
like it. Anyway, I thought it was real funny that they wouldn’t let me
and Melyssa ride it because she put her foot over the camera thing in
there. I tried to first, but I couldn’t move my leg because of the
harness thing. So I made her do it. Then of course I blamed her when
they kicked us out 😉 But yeah, I totally thought they would just yell
at us or something… but.. they didn’t let us ride. Jerks.
Anyway, as to why we were there too long for me…. It is very loud
there… there are a lot of people there… there are lots of flashing
lights and stuff like that. So it’s kind of like sensory overload I
guess. I can only take so much of that. Plus I had a real bad headache,
which I in fact still have, though it is not quite as bad as it was.
I need a job. If anyone has a job they want to give me, let me know.
Maybe I will give in and just work at the cafeteria. And get the exact
opposite shift of what my roommate has, so I don’t have to listen to
him talk at me.
Ummm.. that’s it for now, I guess… but, I’ve been writing stuff the
past week or so again. Here is something that made it onto paper that I
don’t mind sharing with people:

“Dearest-

The moon is burning brightly tonight,
I wish that you were here to see it with me.
But here I am gazing up at it’s wondrous luminance,
On a park bench, through the boughs of a palm tree.
Without you.
Alone.
And where you are I do not know
Or what you are doing in this moment,
But I like to think that you are watching this moon with me.
Maybe sitting on a park bench
Through the boughs of a tree of your own.
With me.
Alone.”

I am so tired that it is rediculous.

That’s what I get for only getting like 5 hours of sleep and then going to Disney Quest all day 😉

ah well.

Due to a few complaints, I have decided to update my pic. So, you should see a new one over there. I hope you like it. It’s this new thing I’m trying out called “non-lit photography.” Actually, I had another pic, but when I uploaded it, I realized it looked like i was real pissed off in it. And my roomate is sleeping… so I can’t very well turn on the light… and… there you have it.

Last night, I was in a very reminiscent mood. I read through a bunch of old e-mails and xanga posts. It was a good time.

In doing so, I found a poem I wrote on here a long time ago, but that never got transferred over to my other website. Anyway, I modified it a little bit because reading it again I didn’t really like it all. And now I am going to repost it here because this way I can be lazy and not write anything really 😉

Here it is. For now, it will be called “Broken”, using my extremely lazy poem-titling method called “taking the first word and using it as the title”. Here it is:

“Broken, Fallen on the ground
Betrayed by my own desires
Looking in your eyes I’ve found
The burning warmth of olden fires

A failure here, these last years.
A life of futility.
Yet I sense a purpose here
Yet impossibility

What is it that your eyes see?
Vision blurred by streaming tears
I long to see them set free
See the light within so clear

But still a haze surrounds me
I need a hand to guide me
Thought I’d make it all alone
All my strength is overthrown

I’m broken, can I heal you?
I can’t leave you without hope
I feel your pain, burn me through
With this my weak heart can’t cope

Someday we may find a way.
Together we may pull through.
Though that is no hope for today
I pray you will make it true.”

I’m just full of Xanga posts today… isn’t that crazy?

Anyway, they gave us these issues of Relevant Magazine for free today… so umm.. I was just reading it, and here’s a little exerpt from it:

“Rumors are flying that former Vice President Al Gore is planning to start a liberal cable news channel. Apparently hoping to help Democrats counter conservative voices in TV and radio, he’s been meeting with possible financial backers, according to Time.com. No word on what role Gore – who’s opted against running for president in 2004 – would play in the venture.”

Now… is it just me…. or do we already have those?

So to anyone who was wondering how many people the Fillmore in Denver, CO holds… (where Five Iron’s last show is)… it holds 3,600 people. And it’s sold out. That’s freaking crazy.

Read the below post too. It still applies.

If you failed to download the Farewell to Arms mp3, I do believe the window of opportunity is passed. The guy that put it up there said he is taking it down. So… while I have no actually checked, that is probably a broken link. Feel free to try anyway though, if you want.

What is up with this crazy new entry box? I don’t know if I approve or not. It is weird.

I bought a plane ticket to Denver, CO. So did Nick. Times worked out pretty well… get there like 20 minutes before him…. Hopefully neither flight will be delayed or anything crappy like that.

So just like… a little over a month… until that.

One of the sets of tickets on ebay went up to $265. That’s pretty crazy. I think that’s the only one that broke $200… but most have been going for like $150. But there’s still several auctions going there if anyone is desperate for a ticket.

Ummm.. I don’t think I have anything interesting to share really.

Bye 😉
