Well, here it is, almost 3 am, and I am not really too tired. I have to
go to sleep sometime soon though…. because well… I have class
tomorrow (luckily not until noon). But… See, I was real tired
earlier, because my roommate woke me up early this morning playing
music, which really kind of ticked me off. But it is the first time he
has ever done it, so I think I’ll let it slide. Next time he gets
yelled at though. And if he doesn’t find himself a new cd to listen to
he will get yelled at too.. because I’m really starting to hate Mercy
Me. You know when you feel urges of murderous rage towards a band, that
you have heard their cd too much. But uhhh.. yeah, I don’t think this
band is good enough to warrant having played their cd 24/7 for like the
past week and a half or so.
Anyway, so yesterday was Disney Quest… we went there for Karen’s
birthday. It was pretty fun. But we were there too long for me,
personally. Ummm.. let’s see… for those who don’t know what it is,
you buy a ticket to go into the place, and inside there is a bunch of
different things… like… they have a bunch of arcade games that you
can play, which is really cool. The best arcade games there though are
the really old school ones. They have Galaga, and Galaxian… and these
Tron games…. and this old Star Wars game…. good stuff. Oh, and
Joust. That’s a good one. They also have Lunar Lander, which is a
really great game which I am really good at, but it was broken
yesterday, so I was sad about that.
There was also this really fun game with like.. these 5 bars that go
across the table thing it is on… and there are buttons at the end of
each bar on each side, and you have to bounce the light back and forth
across it, and try to get it through to the other person’s end. It is
way hard 😉 But a lot of fun. Played it several times with Ben, and won
at first… but.. then he started beating me, which was sad. (for me
anyway).
They also have some kind of VR type games there… like real immersive
almost-but-not-really ride type games…. Pirates of the Carribean was
a real good one. Oh, and the best thing there I think is the bumper car
things with the cannon on them 😉 Nothing like shooting at things.
There is also this “create your own roller coaster” thing, called Cyber
Space Mountain. I think it is really dumb, but other people seem to
like it. Anyway, I thought it was real funny that they wouldn’t let me
and Melyssa ride it because she put her foot over the camera thing in
there. I tried to first, but I couldn’t move my leg because of the
harness thing. So I made her do it. Then of course I blamed her when
they kicked us out 😉 But yeah, I totally thought they would just yell
at us or something… but.. they didn’t let us ride. Jerks.
Anyway, as to why we were there too long for me…. It is very loud
there… there are a lot of people there… there are lots of flashing
lights and stuff like that. So it’s kind of like sensory overload I
guess. I can only take so much of that. Plus I had a real bad headache,
which I in fact still have, though it is not quite as bad as it was.
I need a job. If anyone has a job they want to give me, let me know.
Maybe I will give in and just work at the cafeteria. And get the exact
opposite shift of what my roommate has, so I don’t have to listen to
him talk at me.
Ummm.. that’s it for now, I guess… but, I’ve been writing stuff the
past week or so again. Here is something that made it onto paper that I
don’t mind sharing with people:

Well heres your comment. How can you hate Mercy Me? they are the best thing since… since… sliced bread or… brave saint saturn… 🙂 Oh and how can you not like your room mate talking to you 24/7? I think it would be SOOOOO stinking cool. Yea thats right I said it would be COOL.
looking at the moon through the boughs of a palm tree… defnitely on my list of “Favorite Things To Do”. especially if said palm boughs are in hawaii. while lying in a hammock at night there, staring into the very black sky, seeing all those stars… it amazed me how God knows each star by name. even more amazing, He created me, and knows me by the special name He’s given me… the name no one but Him knows.
the sunset was so gorgeous last night that i actually pulled over to watch it sink below the mountains. a love song happened to come onto the radio at the pinnacle of the sun’s glory and the whole scene was just perfect. except that i was alone. i wondered where my future husband was and what he was doing and if we’d ever get to share a sunset like that. i’m telling you, my eyes were fixated on that brilliant sun. nothing could tear them away.
your beautiful poem reminded me of that.
p.s. corey, jon and i played that shooting bumper car thing and cof & i were in the same car so it made it much easier b/c one would load the balls in the cannon and the other would drive… it was MUCH fun, especially since we got to shoot jon.
Hmmmm mercy me sounds better than my rommates fav. Stacie Orrico. Nuf said!! She plays it none stop every single day. I want to throw it out the window. Then I will run down the three flights of stairs and stomp all over it until no one can ever listen to it again. Ha Ha Ha!!! VENGEANCE WILL BE MINE!!!!!!!!

Look. I’m commenting. Hrm. I feel your pain on Mercy Me only we’ve already talked about my Mercy Me story so there is no point in putting that here. Disney Quest sounds super. We have something like that here called Castles and Coasters. It’s fun but way too loud for my taste. I haven’t been forced to go there in a long time. And whoever commented on your last journal about you needing a shave was right. Go work on that. Anyway, RIP: New Spike!
So this bumper car with cannon sounds super fun. Where else do they have these kinds of things?? Too bad I can’t ride bumper cars. They hurt my head. But they’re SOOO fun!!! Especially if they had cannons to shoot other people. How cool is that? So i get this feeling that you do not care for your roommate…… Then why are you living with him??
