So today I drove about an hour and a half to Nokesville, VA to help out
with a local independent film, Mrs. Amworth.  It’s a horror film,
and seems kinda decent.  Vampires anyway… vampires are always
good.  Anyway, they shoot on the weekends, which is kinda nice,
because I can do that on the weekends and have a real job where I get
money on Monday-Friday.  Fun times.  Anyway…. yeah. 😉

So after talking to my supervisor from when I was interning at
Lightstorm, I have decided that I will not be going to the L.A. Film
school because it would be unneccessarily putting myself in debt.
So now, I will likely stick around here for a few months, and then go
to LA and try to get a job.  Should be interesting.

yep.

I am coming home tomorrow evening.  I will get there pretty late.

I just wanted to let everyone know that it has nothing to do with the
fact that i already had tickets, and everything to do with Corey
telling me to come home.

So yesterday was rather fun.

Holly’s church had a picnic at a nearby park, and so we went to
that.  Whilst there, it rained very hard.  You might consider
that odd, since this is Texas, and you would be right.  Anyway,
due to it not raining often here I guess the ground doesn’t absorb
water so fast.  this little stream of water rose a LOT, to the
point that it was as deep as I am tall at the deepest point.  It
was also moving pretty fast and powerfully.  Anyway, at first we
got in where it was deeper… to see how deep it was.  I don’t
know why really, seemed like a good idea at the time i guess.
Then, we got in further upstream, where this smaller bridge was
submerged in water which was crashing around it… we’d get in there
and ride the current downstream till shortly before the other
bridge.  It was a really fun time.

Just thought I would share.

See you folks back in MD soon

P.S. It’s true, Texas isn’t all that great, but, it’s not all that bad either.

just thought i’d take a moment to put up a quick post.  all is well in the great state of texas.

i will be back soon.
