also, for any powerbook owners out there…..

in the latest issue of MacAddict, which I just got, they tell about this handy little piece of shareware that adds some functionality to the trackpad. namely, you can set up page scrolling on the trackpad (so, for example, the right edge of the pad could be used to scroll through a website). also, it has corner tapping functions that you can use either for additional mouse button clicks (you could make one of the corners your right click, for example). if you enable tap clicking as your left click, you can make the built in click your right click (for some reason you can’t do the opposite). anyway, i set up the corners to function as my expose controls… and i like the ability to scroll. It is called Sidetrack.

It is a beta release and apparently there is a chance of it causing a kernel panic, but i experienced no problems in installing it on mine. make sure you read the FAQ first so you know what to do to fix it in the event that it does not go so smoothly on your system.
