“Real Fact” # 140
Holland is the only country with a national dog.

I wonder what the dog is?

Q: How do you make time fly?
A: Take your watch on your next airplane trip!

Q: Why did the turkey cross the road?
A: To show he wasn’t a chicken!

ahaha… aaaahaha…

String cheese jokes are pretty funny. That first one is like… a really stupid offtake a joke that was really stupid and not funny to begin with… remember when the punchline used to be “throw it out the window!”????? yeah, well the airplane trip thing is the punchline for the new millenium. Remember when everyone used to be all about the new millenium? I haven’t heard anything about the new millenium in awhile. Did the effect wear off already? I guess this isn’t a new millenium anymore. I mean, it’s a whole 3 years old (4 if you’re one of those people who think there was a year 0 A.D. (stupid class of 2000… they’re the only ones dumb enough to try to pull that crap off ;)) But yeah, I mean… I don’t know what I mean. Yesterday’s news I guess.

In other news, Cornerstone is in 9 days! I only have to suffer through one more week of work before it! Of course, then I have to come back from it and suffer through several more… but ummm… I’m in denial about that part for now.

In some more other news, it is ALSO Karissa’s birthday in 9 days. She shared this with me in an IM earlier today, so I figured I would pass it on, as she fails to mention it on her site. Be sure to wish her a very happy birthday.

In yet other news, I am going to finish redoing the colors of this site shortly after I submit this post. So if you are around in the next few minutes after I make it, and see some really hideous colors or anything like that, don’t fret… I will fix it eventually 😉

And now my kiwi strawberry Snapple is all gone, and that can only mean one thing… that it is time for this post to come to an end.

I leave you, as I almost always do, with a song…

“When deadbolts awak you from deja vu dreams,
At four in the morning you know where I’ll be,
Out running red lights asleep at the wheel,
The sirens feed my nightmares.
I just close my eyes and I’m already here;
It’s already too late.
I know it’s nothing but lies
But they sound so sincere;
I find them too hard
I find them too hard to hate.
And she calls from the doorway,
“stolen water is sweet,
So lets drink it in the darkness if you know what I mean.”
And I’m almost sure that I’ve been here before,
That this is not the first time I’ve stood in front of this door,.
With an overwhelming feeling that I shouldn’t go in,
But it seems this is a battle that I never could win.
And you, my true love,
You call from the hilltop,
You call through the streets,
“Darling don’t you know, the water is poison.”
And I say, “Come on and give me my poison.”
What have I done?
Is it too late to save me from this place,
From the depths of the grave?

We all are those who thought we were brave.

What have I done?”

  1. Wouldn’t the newfoundland be the national dog of newfoundland?? I mean that only makes sense. I do like these colors much better than the weird brown you had before. It was pretty gross. ANyhow, I’m excited for you that you have only a few more days of work till cornerstone. You guys will have an awesome time there im sure. Not for me. I’m not a camping person, as the assateague trip proved.

  2. You can tell your hair is purple in the picture! That is awesome! It makes me happy. And who gave you that stylish hair cut? That is kicking! Have a great time at Cornerstone if I don’t talk to you before then.
