Westboro Baptist Church doesn’t really have anything to do with the baptist denomination, they just call themselves that. In reality, they are very much a cult. They claim exclusive truth and that anyone who disagrees with them simply is not a Christian or doesn’t understand the bible (as the guy states in the video when the guy asks him about what he would say to anyone who said that God loves everyone). At any rate, 80% of the church’s body are from the same family… which is the family of the pastor there, Fred Phelps. Which, at roughly 100 members (slightly under that) means that there are also about 20 other lunatics who think that what that nutjob family is doing is a good idea. It’s really more sad then anything else, and hopefully the people at the funerals those idiots picket realize that they are just sad and pathetic people.
But I thought the idea of sending a guy in to hit on one of them men there was pretty hilarious ;). Honestly, I’d probably have been afraid they might start stoning me or something if I were to do that… heh.
