So this is pretty awesome… let’s keep it up, girls 😉

some random dumb things that have happened:

1. last night we were at mcdonalds….  in the
drive-thru….  we were behind the car that was at the pickup
window, when the car behind us bumped into us.  how do you bump
into someone in a drive-thru?  you’re going like 2 miles an hour
and only move when you see the car in front of you move.

2. I was putting my hoodie on a bit ago, and there is this fan in this
room….  as my arm was going in the sleeve i was sticking it up
in the air, causing my hand/arm to occupy the same space at the fan,
thereby causing it to inflict pummelling upon it.

there are probably other things, but I am too lazy to think about them.

on another note, i think it best to put an end to this “jason doesn’t
work” myth once and for all.  There was burger king.  There
was Toys R Us.  There was the school cafeteria.  There was
Lightstorm (just because I didn’t get paid doesn’t make it not
work.)  Now there is Schoop’s.  So really, this is nothing
new.  No doubt I have been employed to a lesser extent then many
other people, but this means little.

well, i am going to go now, because i need to drive back to my
apartment so that i can sleep, and wake up for my 8 o clock class
tomorrow.

Yeah, so as elliot pointed out, it seems the female gender unanimously
decided to comment on my last post.  it’s almost enough to make
somebody think that girls like me or something.  almost.  i
think you should keep that up.  it will make people think that i’m
cool… because girls like me… even though i’m not… and they don’t.

so i am excited because I *DON’T* have to work tonight…. 
yesterday went well though, I actually got pretty good at the burger
thing yesterday.  Only screwed up one, and it was my first. 
So yeah, I won’t have to work again till Monday, at which point I will
actually be on the schedule, and will have to work more then I did this
week.. but yeah… that’s good.. because I want money… and it’s
really not too bad.  Except the grease popping on my hand
constantly.  That part is bad.  But thus far I have avoided
it popping into my eye… that part is good.

So now I await my journalism class…..  and then I will just be
able to spend tonight doing nothing of value… which is always
enjoyable…. 🙂  Maybe I’ll go to a movie….

So I started working at a place called Schoop’s yesterday…. it wasn’t
too bad.  It’s somewhere in that middle ground between fast food
and real restraunt.  Anyway, I get to like… cook burgers and
such.  Pretty exciting.  So yeah, I’ll get money or something
now… so I guess that’s good 😉

haha… that was amazing.. by far the funniest thing to ever happen in this game…

i just started up a game of Escape Velocity Nova…  and i started
a mission… and then I got annoyed because i ran out of gas and there
were only 2 ships in the system…..  the one was too busy, and
the other wanted 9,000 credits….  it also happened to be a
Federation ship…  so, being in my small entry-level shuttle,
with a pea shooter as a weapon, i did the only logical thing….. 
i attacked the greedy punk.anyway, he ran out of missiles, and i got
his shields down to about 80 percent before he jumped to hyperspace and
ran away (wuss), and so then i opened fire on the jerk who was “too
busy”.  yeah, who’s busy now?

anyway, i disabled his ship, i got the needed energy for my ship, and continued on my way.

sadly, i was thereafter prompty destroyed when i entered a federation
system and they extracted their revenge, with lots of big ships.

So I wrote a longer post, but i lost it.

hey everybody.

for whoever does not know, i am living off on campus.  that is to
say, in actuality i am living across the street from the campus, but as
far as the school is concerned it is on campus housing.  on the
plus side, there is no curfew in these apartments, and it is in fact
the only on campus housing where this is the case.

also on the plus side, i have access to matt and chad’s apartment
whenever i want, and can sleep here whenever i want.  so that is
good.

ummm… to anyone who might be interested and not already seen it, go
to apple.com and check out the keynote expo webcast (if you have time,
is like and hour and a half)… or i suppose you could just look at the
new stuff they have on the site… but… that’s not the same 😉

So I guess that I should write something else.

I still don’t know what my final schedule is going to be.  I still
don’t know where I am living, but both of these are things which should
be found out by the end of today.  Classes start tomorrow. 
That’s kind of exciting.

Have had a pretty good time back down here though, so that’s cool.  Hopefully I’ll see the people I haven’t seen yet soon.

I should see a movie tonight.

Ok, so, I didn’t hang out with anybody tonight, this is true, I stayed
home.  Things took longer then anticipated and so I didn’t really
have time to do anything.  So umm… sorry about that, I
guess.  Feel free to call me and complain about it tomorrow.

That said, I am now going to power down this computer.  I will be
asleep within the hour, and so, when I next write it will be from
Lakeland.

I hope that everyone has a good semester… or…  semester-length period of time…
