wow… 2 posts in one day? what’s going on?! 😉

Anyway, I just have some more stuff I want to share. First of all…. check out this screen shot from a game called Dragon Empires. I think it’s pretty stinking awesome… and whether you like computer games or not… I think that you should think it is pretty cool too:



Also, earlier today I downloaded mp3s of a demo cd recorded by David Bazan (of Pedro the Lion fame) in 1994. And I have to tell you… this is really awesome stuff. But it’s almost impossible to believe it was written by the same guy that wrote Control 🙂 They are vastly different. Anyway, it’s all just acoustic guitar and him singing. It’s really simple and I think that’s why I like it so much.

1)First grade teacher’s name: Mrs. Kane. She was also my 4th grade teacher. And she was my favorite teacher in elementry school… how about that?
2) Last words you said: I actually don’t remember…. I was talking to this girl this morning as I was walking to class, but I was really tired. I probably said something like “bye” or “see ya later” though… and that’s probably the last thing i said. I doubt I talked to anyone once I got to class. I probably just sat there in a daze.
3) Last song you sang: “Space Robot 5,” by Brave Saint Saturn
4) Last person you hugged: Don’t know… someone at home though. Oh, actually, either my mom or dad. Don’t remember which one last though. 
5) Last thing you laughed at: Zack.
6) Last time you said ‘I love you’: I don’t really keep track, but I’m sure it hasn’t been too long.
7) Last time you cried: Maybe a few weeks ago.
8) What’s in your CD player: Brave Saint Saturn – So Far From Home 
9) What colour socks are you wearing: No socks, just sandals.
10) What’s under your bed: the floor. My bed is a mattress on the floor of our closet. There is nothing between it and the floor. not even air.

12) Current taste: Crest?
13) Current hair: Pretty short compared to what it was. I like it though. 
14) Current clothes: blue switchfoot shirt… jeans… sandals.
15) Current annoyance: the female gender?
16) Current longing: that the female gender would cease doing what it is that they do that causes me frustration.

19) Current hate: ummm.. schoolwork.
20) Story behind your journal user name: Once upon a time I used IRC (Internet Relay Chat for you non-computer-internet-saavy people), and for a time, it was good. I used multiple nicknames on it… ummm.. probably my longest running one was creation, which was sometimes shortened to just Crea. I don’t remember why I used that one, but it is of no relation to the Creation festival, as was sometimes thought. Anyway, Reese came about because one day I decided it would be fun to see if I could convince people on IRC that I was Reese Roper, of Five Iron Frenzy. Anyway, another friend of mine impersonated some other member of Five Iron… I don’t remember who he was impersonating… but anyway, we had a lot of people actually believing us… but don’t worry, we told them later that we weren’t really. Anyway, my friend went back to his old nick, but I just sort of kept mine. and ummm… never got around to changing it. The 268 just comes from the fact that Reese was taken, and for some reason I have a strange fascination with the number 268. So there you have it.
21) Current favourite article of clothing: umm.. I like all the new shirts and jeans I just got while i was at home.
22) Favourite physical feature of the opposite sex/same sex: Face/eyes… without the pretty face the rest means nothing 😉
23) Last CD that you bought: Elliott – False Cathedrals
24) Favourite place to be: ummm.. Cornerstone?
25) Least favourite place: I don’t think I have one.
26) Time you wake up in the morning: Depends on the morning. But generally as late as I possibly can (which, by the way, is sometimes 6:30 in the A.M.)
27) If you could play an instrument, what would it be: Well, I kind of play guitar… but I will still stick with it as an “if” answer, because I’m not very good. I’d also like to be able to play drums.
28) Favorite color: green
29) Do you believe in an afterlife: surely do.
30) How tall are you: 5’10 or 5’11 or so. I always have people who either tell me I am taller or shorter then whatever I tell them though. I don’t know.
31) Current favorite word/saying: “woah…. this is heavy”… or “great scott!”… not really 😉
32) Favorite book: in fiction I like LOTR a lot, but because that is probably a pretty standard answer at the moment… I also really love a series called The Sword of Truth… especially the book Faith of the Fallen. And as far as non-fiction goes, I really love the book “When God Interrupts”. It’s been awhile since I read it, but I remember it being really awesome.
33) Favorite season: spring
34) One person from your past you wish you could go back and talk to: honestly don’t know
35) Favorite day: probably saturday. 
36) Where do you want to go: Cornerstone
37) What is your career going to be like: I don’t know. I could really end up doing almost anything.
38) How many kids do you want to have: I’d like to have at least 2 but no more then 3. I probably get the limit from the fact that there are 3 kids in my family. And that just seems like plenty to me 🙂
39) What kind of car will you have: Well… I really like Maximas. We will also of course require an enormous american car. I hate minivans… so i guess a very large SUV.
40) Type a line you remember from any book: Don’t really remember any lines well enough to actually quote them 🙂
