and i have just returned from the last chapel of the semester.
i am very happy about that, simply because it means 1 less thing that i have to do.

in case you were wondering, my show went pretty well last night. i had several last minute changes due to a few ppl failing to show up, a few people coming late, and a few people canceling on the day of ;). the news segment was a LITTLE rough… which I will either not care about, or try to fix during editing. everything else went pretty great. jason brown played a song and did the interview…. and.. other then when they ran out of things to talk about (i had to make them go for like 16 minutes because the news wasn’t as long as i had wanted ;)) and started talking about how they didn’t know what camera was live and asked which one it was… it was pretty good 😉 again, probably will be fixed during editing. Hopefully I have enough to edit and still get my 28:30. If not I will have to try to figure out some way to make up the time.

now, as we all know, whenever i go into the studio to do anything i end up spending the entirety of my day there. So I ended up going over there at 7 for my show, and I didn’t leave till 3ish. i decided to stay and help ryan with his show, even though he failed to come to mine when he said he would 😉 but that’s ok… knowing how much stuff i had to take care of right before my show, i’m sure the same thing happened to him. his was pretty fun to do anyway. he based it off the orsen wells radio broadcast thing, The War of the Worlds (you know, the one with the alien invasion which a bunch of people thought was a real news broadcast?) Anyway, this one was a tv news broadcast, during which the rapture happens, during the shooting of the news SCTV news to be exact. Anyway, most of the crew was raptured… there were 3 of us that were left behind. We then sort of chronicle events and the general chaos that is happening after the rapture… i was the camera op that got left behind… i make a breif appearance on camera, but most of the time it is just understood that i am there… had a few lines, not many. but it was fun. and i got to abuse the cameras, which was even more fun.

then greg was awesome and showed me the basics of avid so that i can go in there and edit sometime this week, despite the fact that it was so late and he needed to do editing of his own. anyway, he won’t read this, but thanks to greg anyway.

now i am just really really tired amd wish i could sleep, but i have class at 12, so sleeping would be kind of pointless… i will just have to wait until classes are over.

hope you are all having a wonderful day.

Godspeed.

  1. The sheer terror “The War of the Worlds” broadcast inflicted on so many absolutely amazes me. It was brilliant, really.
