hello everyone.
i am now fully absorbed into the apple world.
the other day, i got onto a windows computer to do something, and every time i wanted to close a window, i would go up to the top left corner of the window… only to realize… oh yeah… the x is on the right side…. something about that just seems so wrong now…..
in other news, my pc decided to infect itself with a virus or something since i wasn’t using it anymore since i got this. i was going to play final fantasy on it the other day and then it wasn’t really working well, so i tried to reboot, and now everytime xp starts up it boots to blue lines.
i don’t have an xp cd, because i installed it off of my school’s xp cd, so until i can borrow a cd from someone or something, i don’t think there is anything i can do to fix it. i can start it in safe mode, but norton won’t run, and i have no idea what to change to make it so it will start.
i bought a mouse for my powerbook today. it is a logitech one. it is nice and small (but not TOO small) and the cord wraps up and secures nicely… i would have liked the cordless one more, but it was like $20 more. i would have enjoyed a bluetooth one even MORE… but every one of those i have seen are like $100, which is just too much to pay for a mouse.
jason brown and i went to bb’s bread and bagels and made use of their free wireless internet. it really was pretty nice, they didn’t have any restrictions… even my filesharing stuff was running. and it was decently fast. i wish borders would use that same service, instead of the dumb t mobile hotspot thing, which costs $30 a month for an unlimited account. honestly, that’s pretty rediculous. that’s like as much as we pay for internet at home. how much time do they think i’m going to be spending online at borders and starbucks? 😛
if they were to drop it to 10, i’d probably consider getting it. but for a definite, they’d have to go to 5. even if i could pay 5 for like… 10 hours of use, that would be worth it. i’d probably only use it about that much anyway.
The Village comes out next weekend. You should make sure to go see it, it looks really cool. However, I may not see it on opening night, because Cool Hand Luke is playing a show near here that night, and there is a good chance I will be going to that instead. But the next night… I will be there. No matter what.
Well, I have written quite enough. People have still been commenting on my cursing post, so scroll down 2 posts and keep it going awhile longer, i like hearing your opinions on the matter.
Jason, I envy you and your mac world. Before I bought my Dell laptop I’d really been looking at PowerBooks and drooling over them, but in the end, the price tag was just too high. So my question is, how can you afford an PowerBook and not a wireless mouse? 🙂
well, i probably COULD have bought the wireless, but, it was $50, and I only had 40 on me. Also, that is a lot of money to pay for a mouse. You know? Even having $50, I don’t know if I could pay that much for just a mouse. But I like this one just fine. Plus this one doesn’t need batteries. So maybe it’s actually better.
appleface.
i like bb’s. good food. 🙂
