so i was just sitting here tonight after everyone left… thinking of
how i wanted to have my hair cut… i was like.. well.. i could pay to
have it cut… or… i could have someone cut it for me… or… i
could… cut it… myself. so… i did.
anyway, i’m pretty sure that it turned out all right… it’s just… i
can’t really see the back.. so i dunno. i just kinda chopped
randomly. it probably sucks really bad but i am just in a state
of delirium.
i was real real careful at first.. it took like an hour to convince
myself to actually close the scissors… so.. yeah. as time
went on i kinda stopped caring… just sort of chopped it up
randomly… hmm.. that could be shorter… that doesn’t quite
match.. *chop* still doesn’t *chop* hmm… maybe if i chop it one more
time… 😉
so anyway, it was actually a lot of fun. i highly reccomend it if
you don’t particularly care about the ultimate outcome. very
freeing. exhillerating. take your pick.
anyway, yeah….

I trimmed my bangs down a few times in college, but I was never brave enough to try for the back. I do remember the experience to be quite exhillerating, though.

How excited… and I quite agree. Cutting your own hair is a blast. I remember when I was in like 8th or 9th grade – my mom went away on vacation so she couldn’t cut my hair… and I was going to camp so I needed a “cool” new hair style… so out came the scissors… it went from the back of my back to 2 inches long. What fun. The good old days.
