Actually, technically, I wathced that last night…. but, you know….
It’s a good movie though. I reccomend it. If you are a noir
fan, anyway. It is one of Lars Von Trier’s earlier films, before
he went all dogme 95ish. I liked it.
Now I have to write some report to hopefully hand in today regarding a
presidential candidate’s use of propaganda in the last election.
While I could choose either of the major candidates, or even a 3rd
party candidate, as they all use propaganda… I decided to go with
Bush due to the fact that pretty much everyone else in the class will
go with Kerry. So I figure I should try to balance it all out a
little bit.
I hate assignments like that…. I hate comm theory in general. I hope I pass 😛
I also am kinda sick I think. Have felt a little naseuous since i woke up…… so.. yeah. that’s not good.
Anyway, now to concentrate on writing that paper….
I should be watching that this week. I guess it’s the first film of his “Europa” trilogy: The Element of Crime, Epidemic, and Zentropa. You should check out The Kingdom, the tv series he did in Denmark. I just watched the first season, and it’s really good, but only available here on VHS. Season 2 (the last season), isn’t available here yet, but you can find all-region DVD’s of it.
