So I started working at a place called Schoop’s yesterday…. it wasn’t
too bad.  It’s somewhere in that middle ground between fast food
and real restraunt.  Anyway, I get to like… cook burgers and
such.  Pretty exciting.  So yeah, I’ll get money or something
now… so I guess that’s good 😉

haha… that was amazing.. by far the funniest thing to ever happen in this game…

i just started up a game of Escape Velocity Nova…  and i started
a mission… and then I got annoyed because i ran out of gas and there
were only 2 ships in the system…..  the one was too busy, and
the other wanted 9,000 credits….  it also happened to be a
Federation ship…  so, being in my small entry-level shuttle,
with a pea shooter as a weapon, i did the only logical thing….. 
i attacked the greedy punk.anyway, he ran out of missiles, and i got
his shields down to about 80 percent before he jumped to hyperspace and
ran away (wuss), and so then i opened fire on the jerk who was “too
busy”.  yeah, who’s busy now?

anyway, i disabled his ship, i got the needed energy for my ship, and continued on my way.

sadly, i was thereafter prompty destroyed when i entered a federation
system and they extracted their revenge, with lots of big ships.

So I wrote a longer post, but i lost it.

hey everybody.

for whoever does not know, i am living off on campus.  that is to
say, in actuality i am living across the street from the campus, but as
far as the school is concerned it is on campus housing.  on the
plus side, there is no curfew in these apartments, and it is in fact
the only on campus housing where this is the case.

also on the plus side, i have access to matt and chad’s apartment
whenever i want, and can sleep here whenever i want.  so that is
good.

ummm… to anyone who might be interested and not already seen it, go
to apple.com and check out the keynote expo webcast (if you have time,
is like and hour and a half)… or i suppose you could just look at the
new stuff they have on the site… but… that’s not the same 😉

So I guess that I should write something else.

I still don’t know what my final schedule is going to be.  I still
don’t know where I am living, but both of these are things which should
be found out by the end of today.  Classes start tomorrow. 
That’s kind of exciting.

Have had a pretty good time back down here though, so that’s cool.  Hopefully I’ll see the people I haven’t seen yet soon.

I should see a movie tonight.

anyway, that’s all i have to say.

Ok, so, I didn’t hang out with anybody tonight, this is true, I stayed
home.  Things took longer then anticipated and so I didn’t really
have time to do anything.  So umm… sorry about that, I
guess.  Feel free to call me and complain about it tomorrow.

That said, I am now going to power down this computer.  I will be
asleep within the hour, and so, when I next write it will be from
Lakeland.

I hope that everyone has a good semester… or…  semester-length period of time…

Well, today was my last day in Maryland.  That means that come
tomorrow morning, quite early, I am planning to wake up at 5 and leave
by 6, probably won’t take even that long for me to get going. 
Arrival in Lakeland, FL should be around 8 pm, where that night I will
be staying with Matt and Chad, but I also might hang out with Karissa
and Craig once I get there.  This means that if you have my phone
number you should feel inclined to call me tomorrow.  This also
means that if I have *YOUR* number, I might feel inclined to call you,
and so you should make sure you have your phone with you and answer it
;).

Not sure what all is going on tonight, but I know I won’t see everyone,
so, anyone who I did not get a chance to say bye to in person… umm..

Well, the new book in what is my favorite current series came out
today, Chainfire, which is the beginning of the end of the series (it
is closing with the Chainfire trilogy, which this is the first book
of.)  I have only read the first chapter thus far cuz some people
came over and we watched the director’s cut of Donnie Darko, which was
cool.

Anyway, yeah… check out the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind
sometime if you haven’t….  the first book is Wizard’s First
Rule.  I have seen it in bargain bins and such at bookstores in
the past for really cheap…  So yeah, check it out.

As for me, I am going to go and read a few more chapters of Chainfire before I go to sleep.
