Watched Shaun of the Dead last night.  Loved it 😉  Anyone
with an appreciation for zombie movies should like it, I would think.

So today is Christmas Eve.  That came fast.  That means a
really good dinner tonight followed by church followed by the opening
of presents.  Yeah, we do it on Christmas eve.  And if you’re
wondering, it’s way better.  Not that I am getting very much, due
to having recieved the thing I am presently typing on (my powerbook)
over the summer.

I am going to go back to playing Final Fantasy XI now though.

ahhh.. just watched The Punisher…  liked it as much this time
around as I did the first time.  The first time I saw it I was
just in the mood for something really dark and violent though, so I
thought that was maybe the only reason I liked it so much 😉

So I went to sleep at like 5 last night (or this morning, depending on
how you look at it), and woke up at about 2 today… I would have slept
later probably except it was way dark out cuz it was raining and I
thought it was way later, and got up.

It’s nice when time is meaningless.  Nice and sad.

So apparentyly this guy
thinks it would be a good idea if the calendar was identical every
year.  This means, for example, March 7th would always be on
a wednesday.  Christmas and New Years would always fall on
sunday.  That’s weird

What’s weirder is that to keep it in line with the seasons, every 5 or
6 years (similar to leap years in the Gregorian calendar) there would
be an additional week-long mini-month, which he has dubbed “Newton
Week.”

He also proposes everyone switching over to GMT, rather then having seperate time zones, etc.

This is all interesting and I would think maybe it could happen
eventually, but I think it’s really funny that his target date for
achieving this is January 1, 2006.

So the other day Suprnova.org was shut down.  This is sad.
They provided me with torrents to download all kinds of things.
But no more.

However, I didn’t find out about them being shut down until last night,
because the past several days I have been using www.torrentspy.com.

Anyway, the point of this is that I have nothing else to post about, so
I thought I would direct anyone looking for a new torrent site to
replace Suprnova to this page: http://www.beatking.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9657

It contains a list of torrent sites, with a description of each.
Although I must say, TorrentSpy is quite convenient, with the firefox
search plugin.. and all that.

I think I might be getting sick or something.  Like my throat is
all sore and stuff.  I mean…. For example, my throat is all sore
and… things.  I think that’s how it goes now, anyway.  😉

In other news, Adelphia has the slowest broadband internet service in
existance.  I can’t even play Halo 2 on X-Box Live.  I am
highly upset at them for this.  Plus it would help if it was
faster so I could download things more quickly.

ummm… that’s all i have to say.  I never really had anything to say to begin with.

5 minutes till I leave.  So when you read this… I am somewhere between Burbank and Frederick 😉

Have a great day.

i am minus a lot of hair right now.  am i minus all of my
hair?  who knows.  well, i do, but, i will not tell
you.  you will have to wait and see.

just thought i’d let you know that what was going to happen has happened.

Today is my last day in LA (tomorrow doesn’t count because all I’m
doing is waking up, eating breakfast, taking the rental car back, and
going to the airport.)

I went and visited a school I am considering going to once I am done at
Southeastern.  It is generically named, LA Film School.  It
looks pretty impressive.  I was able to talk to the admissions
advisor they assigned to me, who conveniently used to work at Full
Sail, so he was able to detail the differences in classes and such
between the 2 schools.  I have to say though, seeing as this one
is in Hollywood, it has an advantage over Full Sail already… plus
their methods sound more appealing to me anyway…
equiptment-wise I think they are on pretty much the same level, so…
yeah.

The ArcLight theater is right across the street from it, so that was
really cool too.  I saw National Treasure, which was
entertaining.  Oh yeah, and the Cafe in the ArcLight has really
good food.

Anyway, I should be cutting my hair shortly.  Whether it is cut
short, or shaved, depends entirely on how brave I am feeling at the
time I arrive there 😉  You will find out whenever you see
me.  Or after someone at home sees me and then they tell you,
depending.

Ok so anyway, I am going to go to the mall now.  Maybe I will see
some of you tomorrow.  If not, I guess I will force myself to wake
up despite the fact that it is 3 hours later there to see this
Christmas play and therefore will see you on Sunday morning.
