in case anyone wonders, tomorrow when i wake up i will be heading for my interview at LightStorm Productions for my internship, so hopefully that will go well.

Edit: yeah, if you saw this before i had the name wrong… apparently i heard it wrong. oh well ;).

oh yeah, by the way, i start friday.

so now i’ve had 2 people’s phone numbers change on me…… you know… you people need to let me know these things….

i’m all like… oooh.. i’m gonna call this person… and then i hit send… and then… “the number you have dialed is no longer in service….” blah blah blah.

I just got back from the Further Seems Forever show at the Roxy.

For the record, it was really good.

Also for the record, Jon Bunch is awesome.

Also The Kicks were pretty good.

And also Brandtson.

And Salem was all right too.

“She’s gone, and she’s gone so lost with him
I’ll wait and I’ll wait ’til my ship comes in
Her warm embrace could carry me
What never was has turn on me
And now without her

What do I have to do?
What do I have to say?
Who do I have to kill
To make you feel this way?

He holds her then they fall to sleep
She holds my heart echoes so deep,
And now without her

What do I have to do?
What do I have to say?
Who do I have to kill
To make you feel this way?

She’s my stars come out
She’s my everything
But I can’t tell her now
What I should have said

What do I have to do?
What do I have to say?
Who do I have to kill
To make you feel this way?

When your plans and your dreams
Suffocate everything
He’s going to break your heart
When you’re shattered and broken
With the mark of a token
Remember how I fell apart
Cause I’m not crying anymore.”

-“What Do I Have To Do?,” by The Kicks

hey folks.

so this library that i am at right now greatly fails in the internet department.  there is no wireless internet for laptops… there are random ethernet ports by some chairs and stuff that do not connect you to the internet… so the only option is to use their computers that they have set up that you have to wait like a half hour to use.  go figure… the Frederick library has wireless internet… and the Los Angeles library doesn’t 😉

anyway, i am gonna go ahead and leave here now.

1 post closer to getting that darned survey thing off the first page 😉

i went to venice beach today. it was good times.

justin and the group he rode with started walking toward the wrong pier because we parked in different spots and were supposed to meet at the pier. they walked almost all the way to the Santa Monica pier, and then someone called to find out where they were and they discovered they were going to the wrong pier, and then turned around and walked all the way down to Venice beach 😉 i found that rather amusing.

that is all.

Note: I wrote this last night but the internet was down. It still is, but I’m on a free trial of earthlink… I think I will have to pay for the wireless service starting on Tuesday…so… yeah. Anyway, on to the post:

Today I was not really anticipating doing anything particularly special. I was supposed to go to a silent movie in what I am told is the only remaining true silent movie theater. However, I was not thinking about it when at about noonish my roommate Justin told me that some people were going to the beach. So, I got pretty excited about that and wanted to go, so I called them and told them I would like to come.. and then… they came and picked me up and I went with them. We went to Santa Monica, and it was really nice. It was definitely perfect beach weather. But then, I can’t really think of a day out here so far that hasn’t been pretty much perfect weather. Anyway, we ate seafood, and it was pretty good. But mine was all fried and there was a lot of it, so… I had too much fried stuff and it didn’t really sit too well after I was done eating it.

Anyway, I got back to late to go to the silent movie, but, it ended up working out pretty well anyway. At first I was just going to go watch a movie over at the apartment of the girls whom I went to the beach with, but upon arriving in my apartment to take a shower and change real quick, one of my roommates, Brett, told me that some people were going to go see Mean Creek… and so.. I decided to do that instead. So I changed clothes (no time to shower, they were leaving pretty much right then) and we went. I have to tell you that I HIGHLY recommend this movie. If you have the means to attend it I strongly urge you to do so (side note: significant amount of cursing, if you care about that.) Anyway, the movie has a pretty good message, and it was definitely very well made. Also, a friend of a friend of mine (Trevor Morgan) has a major role in it. No I do not know him personally, but yeah, a friend of mine does. So that’s kind of cool. Anyway, go see it. I promise it will not disappoint.

While in Pasadena to watch the movie, I discovered that they have an Apple store there that for some reason I was completely oblivious to the previous times I went there. Unfortunately we had no time to go in there. But I will return…

Anyway, that was basically my day. Tomorrow I guess I might get started on my homework type stuff. And uhhh… yeah. No class Monday either. Good times.
