Well, yesterday was a pretty full day.  I really didn’t even have one opportunity to sit down and write something.  Woke up and had to clean my massively messed up room.  Just to give you a bit of an idea, I couldn’t even sleep in it it was so bad 😉  Crap was even all over my bed.  That’s what happens when you go to college I guess… lol.  *I* certainly wasn’t here to put that crap on my bed.. but.. oh well.  But yeah, everything is now quite clean.  And after I was done cleaning I went and bought a desk for my computer which was to be moved up here.  I like the desk a lot.  It is FAR superior to the old cruddy one we had downstairs.  So I spent the next 2 hours or so building a desk, which elliot (zeronitro) helped me with, as he was lucky and showed up 5 minutes after I started reading the directions and about the exact moment I was realizing I definately needed someone to help me, due to the fact that with only two arms it is impossible to do many of the things required to construct the desk.  THEN, after Jon was HORRIBLY late in getting here… to quote Corey… “6:30 sure does come late these days…” we went to his mom’s house and enjoyed the whole campfire experience.  It was a lot of fun. I got home somewhere in the area of 3 a.m..  Woke up at 11… ahhh…  good stuff, good stuff.

So yeah, was a pretty cool day yesterday.  Dunno what I’m going to do today yet.  I’m sure people around here will probly hang out tonight.  Maybe they’ll come over here.  That’s the normal thing to do whenever no one can think of anything to do.  Anyway, that’s all for now.  I will probably write more later.

Ok, so I walked in here between Friends and Seinfeld, and all was well.  I checked my e-mail, and left.  Then when I walked in after Seinfeld, a blue screen was before me.  But not your typical blue screen of death… no, at the top of this one it said “*** HARDWARE MALFUNCTION ***”.  It then proceeded to tell me that there was a parity error.  So my belief that my computer is dying has been confirmed.  The first thing to go is the memory.  That means my time is wearing thin.  I must soon get a job so that I might replace my computer when it finally dies.

If only someone would pay me to not work.  That would help me out a lot.  Actually, I would take someone paying me TO work.  Nowhere I apply at ever stinking hires me.  Oh well.

Well, I have arrived at home safely, for those of you who were wondering.  I was here yesterday, but I never felt like writing anything on here, so I didn’t ;).

The drive was going good up until the North Carolina/VA border…. at which point my front right tire decided to burst for no apparent reason whilst I was going 80 mph.  A sharp jerk to the right and burning rubber signalled to me that I should pull over, which, luckily, was easy to do since there were no cars immediately around me.  In the process of changing the tire I found out my jack sucked, for it broke.  So I had to call a wrecker service, because the jack of the one person who actually stopped to help after I sat there looking pathetic for a half hour didn’t fit my car…..  and neither did the one the cop that eventually stopped.  So yeah… eventually the wrecker service guy came and lifted the car and changed the tire, but I don’t have a real tire for a spare, just a stupid donut… so since it was Sunday night, there was no hope of finding ANYWHERE that I could get a tire.  So I was stuck in Emporia, VA for the night.  Also, after the tire was changed, I had NO room in my car for the wheel, so I put it well off the side of the road and left it there, and came back for it the next morning.  Took forever because the road on the exit I took to get back over there was being repaved and so they were only letting cars in the one lane… so… yeah.  Anyway, I eventually got back to where the wheel was, and placed it in the place where my suitcases used to be.  Then it was a simple matter of heading to the autoshop and getting it changed (Thank you Colony Tire in Emporia, VA for getting me the rest of the way home!)

Anyway, it is apparently impossible for me to make a trip to or from college without some kind of problem.  Oh yeah, it was friggin COLD on the NC/VA border too.  I was extremely glad I had decided to throw my sweatshirt in my car, even tho I hadn’t thought I would need it.

That’s all for now…  I’ll write more later.

Life Science was rough but I think I’ve managed to pull off a passing grade in the class.  Stupid God.  Why’d he have to make everything so complicated anyway? 😉

Anyway, I’m going crazy trying to get all my work done… lol… we have these study guides in life science that i forgot about until today…   I had to do 3 of them… I did the first 2 then realized I only had like 10 minutes left.  Since she doesn’t actually check them and gives us full credit provided we just hand everything in….  I just filled in random stuff 😉  For example, there were some acronym type things we were supposed to explain.  1 was “cAMP”.  My answer: “A place kids go in the summer”.  Another was “SAD”.  My answer: not happy.  Ahh…  in my rush to get it done I actually found some enjoyment.  How pathetic.

Only one final to go and it is American Lit.  It is the only one today that I don’t have to know massive amounts of knowledge for… thank God.. I don’t think my brain could have taken any more.

Anyway, it is weird to think that my first year of college is over, but it is also good.

I will not be here this weekend, and this will be my last post (unless I get a surge of inspiration before I tear my computer down in a couple hours) until I get home.  So I wish you all a grand weekend, and I’ll get back with you on monday (or possibly tuesday, if I don’t get a chance on monday).

Godspeed.

Well, I was going to write a big post today but as it turns out I am really tired and I have to wake up early tomorrow to go to my NT Survey final which I will hopefully do good on.  Anyway, if I have time before I need to get out of here tomorrow, I’ll write what I was planning on writing tonight.  If not, then well… oh well.  Maybe I’ll write it when I get home.

Godspeed.

For the love of all that is holy and good…  someone should stop that man from making tests.  He told us last thursday that he was going to try to make it easy….  ha!  That was the hardest frigging test I have ever taken in all my life.  Generally I do pretty well on tests even if I do zero studying (a fairly hard test I can pull a C with no study)… I never, EVER have to randomly guess answers….. Not so today.  As I sat there and stared at the paper, I didn’t even remembering seeing or hearing the names of half the people it was asking me questions about.  So there I sat… randomly circling in A’s, b’s, c’s, d’s, and e’s… hoping that perhaps the divine hand of God guided mine.  It was probably not to be.  For, as I learned in the 5 minutes during which our teacher departed from the room….  Everyone else was having the exact same problem…  to quote the first person who first spoke when he left. “THIS TEST IS SO FRIGGING HARD!”….  there was much weeping and sorrow, for we all failed.  Go curves, it will hopefully save us all.

“Strange things are afoot at the circle K….”

Now, being from MD, I have been deprived of the Circle K for most of my life.  However, here in Lakeland, there is one about 5 minutes from the college.  I have not really gone there too often… but tonight I got the desire to get a cappuccino… plus I need to stay up late to study (and yet I sit and type this, go figure).  So I said… maybe I’ll go to 7-11.  I got in my car.  I decided 7-11 was too far away.  Circle K is closer.  I decided they probably had acceptable cappucino there, so I went.  And all’s I can say is….. it ROCKS (modification of movie quote… if you don’t recognize it.. too bad.)  Really though, I got the caramel cappucino and it is really seriously good.  I had no idea.  The Circle K will now be my place of refuge whenever I need a cheap cappucino.  good ‘ol Circle K.

Well, tomorrow will be my last full day here at Southeastern College.  Until Fall, of course.  Am leaving Friday immediately after Finals (well, start taking everything out to the cars immediately after finals, leave as soon as that is done).  Also I think we will be watching Spider-man that night.  It should be cool.

At any rate, I really should start studying for my drama final now 🙂  I promise either a long post or another poem sometime tomorrow.

Godspeed.
