Well, I wrote this post….. and then the stupid school’s network went down so when I tried to post it it was forever lost.  I was unhappy because the network was down and the phones were down.  It is finally back up, but I think it is highly gay that they were down for so long.

Rock on 🙂  I just found out Pedro the Lion will be playing main stage at Cornerstone this year…. whereas before I was under the impression they would not be there at all.  I am really excited… but it seems odd that they would put them on the main stage…..  it seems there is the potential for a lot of people to be offended… heh.  Although he is supposed to be done his essay this year (well, he was supposed to be done his essay last year too 😉  but…. yeah.)  So maybe he will read it too.  For anyone who isn’t familiar with it, it is an essay on Christianity and the arts.  He has had it in the works for awhile, obviously.  So it should be really good.  But yeah, I am very excited about Cornerstone now. 😉  Not that I wasn’t before… but… yeah.  Fun times.

Stupid teacher.  I was up till 3:30 to 4 a.m. last night writing this research paper so I would have the rough draft done today.  I went to the class.  The teacher was not present.  I was annoyed. 😉  I didn’t get like any sleep last night for NOTHING (however, I did sleep a little, despite my plans to do an all-nighter…..  I was so tired that I really couldn’t have stayed up any longer though.)

But yeah, the paper is all about native americans and the U.S. treatment of them in the past, and you know.. the idea of manifest destiny and all that stuff.  It’s a really interesting topic, and I definately reccomend the book “Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee” to like… everyone.  I mean, honestly, you will learn about a lot of stuff that you had no idea of.  And it’s all really sad, but… yeah.

I’m hoping today will be an easy day…. I need to catch up on some sleep that I didn’t really get over the weekend.  So yeah…..  I’m thinking I’ll just make it through my classes and then sleep for a few hours.  Of course, someone could easily wreck my plans by coming into the room like 2 minutes prior to my going to sleep…..  but… with any luck… 😉

well, i would like to say… sorry i didn’t update at all this weekend…..  the net was down all day friday and then i was at aubrey’s house all day yesterday and today… so… yeah 🙂

anyway, updates coming tomorrow… need to finish writing a paper 🙂
