90! It’s finally here… the final day of the 90 Day commitment.
It seemed like a long time at first, but it’s gone by pretty quickly. Enough so that adding on this extra 11 days doesn’t seem so bad.
I am trying to make a decision about what to do next… revert to the slow carb diet rules and have a cheat day once a week? Do calorie counting but have one day a week where I get some extra calories? (Say 1500/day 6 days of the week and 2500 on the cheat day?)
It will most likely be one of those things, unless I think of something else or someone suggests something to me that I think might work better. Whichever I choose will carry me through the holidays… and so I might choose the latter- as then even on a non-cheat day I could have something “junky”, I’d just have to sacrifice real food… haha. That will mostly only be impactful the week of Christmas though, when there will be lots of temptations.
Anyway, here is what you’ve been waiting for… charts!
Here is the whole 90 days. Keep in mind I didn’t start recording my weight daily (or at all) until September 4. So aside from the start weight, there were no data points until then…
Here’s the last 30 days:
I’m going to keep inputting my weight daily indefinitely… even when I am done trying to achieve weight loss… the idea being when I see it starting to trend up, I can make changes. I really do want this to stick. This is the 4th time in my life I’ve put in significant weight loss, so it’s time I learned to keep it off.
After the new year, if I haven’t yet reached 165, I might change back to this diet again until I do. I’m set on that number now, because I’m close enough to 174 that I know I will have the extra 9 pounds to lose.
Anyway, 90. Major League Baseball bases are 90 feet apart!
