So today has been pretty cool. I got a decent amount of sleep last night for once. I’m still fairly tired… but.. better then usual ;). And the great news of the moment is… no 8 a.m. class tomorrow! I am very pleased with that… granted, chapel is at 9… but that’s another hour my friend… and that makes all the difference. I am going to go and apply for a job here shortly… and then grab some food, since I am going to miss dinner here as a result of the job searching thing.<\/P>

I just got out of systematic theology a moment ago… and today we were talking about natural revelation… ie, can you prove that God exists without the Bible. Now most of the natural proofs I was already quite familiar with… but there was one that I have never heard of before, and really has caused me to think… and I am interested in what you all might think of this or be able to think of. And that is this… it is called the Ontological Argument. It asks the question “Is there anything that you can think of with no relationship to reality?”. The fact that you can think of, and talk about, God is proof that God must exist in and of itself. Now, this in no way proves that the Christian God is indeed the true God, it simply proves that there MUST BE a God of some kind. So how about it… I’m really interested to see if anybody out there can THINK of something that has no relationship to reality. I have been trying for the last 45 minutes or so and have been able to come up with nothing.<\/P>
