wow… 2 posts in one day? what’s going on?! \ud83d\ude09

Anyway, I just have some more stuff I want to share. First of all…. check out this screen shot from a game called Dragon Empires<\/a>. I think it’s pretty stinking awesome… and whether you like computer games or not… I think that you should think it is pretty cool too:



Also, earlier today I downloaded mp3s of a demo cd recorded by David Bazan (of Pedro the Lion fame) in 1994. And I have to tell you… this is really awesome stuff. But it’s almost impossible to believe it was written by the same guy that wrote Control \ud83d\ude42 They are vastly different. Anyway, it’s all just acoustic guitar and him singing. It’s really simple and I think that’s why I like it so much.

2) Last words you said: I actually don’t remember…. I was talking to this girl this morning as I was walking to class, but I was really tired. I probably said something like “bye” or “see ya later” though… and that’s probably the last thing i said. I doubt I talked to anyone once I got to class. I probably just sat there in a daze.

20) Story behind your journal user name:\u00a0Once upon a time I used IRC (Internet Relay Chat for you non-computer-internet-saavy people), and for a time, it was good. I used multiple nicknames on it… ummm.. probably my longest running one was creation, which was sometimes shortened to just Crea. I don’t remember why I used that one, but it is of no relation to the Creation festival, as was sometimes thought. Anyway, Reese came about because one day I decided it would be fun to see if I could convince people on IRC that I was Reese Roper, of Five Iron Frenzy. Anyway, another friend of mine impersonated some other member of Five Iron… I don’t remember who he was impersonating… but anyway, we had a lot of people actually believing us… but don’t worry, we told them later that we weren’t really. Anyway, my friend went back to his old nick, but I just sort of kept mine. and ummm… never got around to changing it. The 268 just comes from the fact that Reese was taken, and for some reason I have a strange fascination with the number 268. So there you have it.

25) Least favourite place: I don’t think I have one.
26) Time you wake up in the morning: Depends on the morning. But generally as late as I possibly can (which, by the way, is sometimes 6:30 in the A.M.)
27) If you could play an instrument, what would it be: Well, I kind of play guitar… but I will still stick with it as an “if” answer, because I’m not very good. I’d also like to be able to play drums.

30) How tall are you: 5’10 or 5’11 or so. I always have people who either tell me I am taller or shorter then whatever I tell them though. I don’t know.

32) Favorite book: in fiction I like LOTR a lot, but because that is probably a pretty standard answer at the moment… I also really love a series called The Sword of Truth… especially the book Faith of the Fallen. And as far as non-fiction goes, I really love the book “When God Interrupts”. It’s been awhile since I read it, but I remember it being really awesome.

34) One person from your past you wish you could go back and talk to: honestly don’t know

37) What is your career going to be like: I don’t know. I could really end up doing almost anything.

39) What kind of car will you have: Well… I really like Maximas. We will also of course require an enormous american car. I hate minivans… so i guess a very large SUV.
