Hi.
\nI know I said I wasn’t going to post, but I figured there are probably
\na good many of you curious about the movie The Passion of the Christ,
\nwhich I saw a few days ago in Orlando.  Now, it’s not really
\npossible to give many spoilers, but I will refrain from giving away
\nsome of the things that weren’t really expected but were really
\ncool.  But anyway…. The way the scene after when Judas betrayed Jesus was
\nhandled was awesome.  As was… well… every other scene in the
\nmovie ;).  There are subtittles, in case you were wondering. 
\nBut not for every single line that is said.  You really don’t need
\nthem anyway, but they are kind of helpful in a couple parts.  But
\nI never really thought about the subtitles after the first 2 or 3
\nminutes.  In short, thie movie is incredible and astounding. 
\nI had VERY high expectations, and they were met in every way.  <\/p>\n

So go see it.  February 25th.  Seriously, go out the first
\nday of it’s release.  The film will be shown in 2,000 theaters (I
\nbelieve that # is just the US), which, bu the way, is on par with many
\nmovies that are major studio releases (New Market Films, which is the
\ndistributor, is NOT a major studio) and by the way, that makes this the
\nfirst film of it’s type to be shown on that many screens.  If the
\nmovie does well on those screens, it will likely be picked up by more,
\nso make sure to make it out the first day or weekend.  You will
\nnot be disappointed.  Also, since many people from church back
\nhome read this, apparently there are some theaters showing it that will
\nlet you rent out the entire  theater for big groups the 2 days
\nbefore the 25th to see it.  I don’t really know how that works,
\nbut if a lot of people want to do that, that might be cool for you to
\ndo.  Oh yeah, and remember that the movie is very intense and
\nviolent.  It has received an R rating, so keep that in mind if
\nconsidering taking younger kids.<\/p>\n

Until the movie is released, you may want to try and check out the
\nlatest issue of Relevant Magazine (www.relevantmagazine.com) , which
\nfeatures a great article on the movie.<\/p>\n
