So I started shooting my first short film last night.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, our camera seriously sucks. It wouldn’t record for some reason that we couldn’t figure out, and then the battery died well before it should have. So I have do shoot it on a Hi-8 camera instead of mini dv, which really kinda sucks. Anyway, the other trick was lighting because the place I was doing it there were no power outlets or anything, so it had to be lit by car headlights.<\/p>\n
I think it might have turned out ok, but I’m not totally sure. Unfortunately I was so busy trying to actually get the shot that I wasn’t really able to actually see the shot as it was taken.<\/p>\n
Anyway, once it is done I should be able to get it online. Supposed to be done by Thursday, so… yeah. Here’s hoping \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
I think my second 2 projects will probably turn out better. I will be shooting them on Super 8 instead of video. I will be lighting them with real lights.
