{"id":200,"date":"2004-12-02T00:23:07","date_gmt":"2004-12-02T05:23:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/darkestlight.org\/xanga\/?p=200"},"modified":"2004-12-02T00:23:07","modified_gmt":"2004-12-02T05:23:07","slug":"200","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/darkestlight.org\/xanga\/?p=200","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I forgot how good butterfingers are.&nbsp; I far too often neglect them.<\/p>\n<p>That is completely unrelated to the rest of this post.<\/p>\n<p>I made an announcement last night that, up until a few minutes ago, I<br \/>\nfully intended to fulfill.&nbsp; However, a few moments ago I received<br \/>\nan e-mail regarding the scripts from Kris (prof).&nbsp; Anyway, I found<br \/>\na small piece of info which I found to be encouraging, and made me feel<br \/>\nbad for not finishing the script.&nbsp; And so tonight becomes:<br \/>\nOperation Drink RockStar And Write Screenplay All Night On Caffeine<br \/>\nHigh&#8230;. or&#8230;.&nbsp; Operation DRAWSANOCH for short.<\/p>\n<p>Now, I have thought it over, and since I promised a shaved head, I<br \/>\nthought maybe we could come to a compromise.&nbsp; Now, I leave this<br \/>\nentirely in the hands of you people&#8230;. my FRIENDS, I remind you&#8230;.<br \/>\nkeep that in mind ;).<\/p>\n<p>Here are the 2 options:<\/p>\n<p>1. I shave my head just as I was going to if I failed.<br \/>\n2. I cut my hair to be really, truly, quite short, but certainly not shaved bald \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>Vote away.&nbsp; 1 or 2 will suffice.&nbsp; You only get one vote, so you know&#8230; make it count.<\/p>\n<p>And this assumes that I succeed in Operation DRAWSANOCH.&nbsp; If I fail, then I have to shave it bald, regardless of your vote.<\/p>\n<p>\nOperation DRAWSANOCH Log:<\/p>\n<p>10:30 PM &#8211; writing has commenced, I am at page 71, I was not actually<br \/>\nat 70 when I started&#8230; more like 67.&nbsp; Stuff is coming out ok,<br \/>\nit&#8217;s a slow process, but if I keep up the pace I should be able to do<br \/>\nthis.&nbsp; Especially now that the distractions of other people are<br \/>\ngone.&nbsp; The log will be updated in maybe an hour or so&#8230;.&nbsp;<br \/>\nNot that anyone will read this until tomorrow anyway \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>11:38 PM &#8211; Writing has been going pretty well, I am just about to reach<br \/>\npage 78.&nbsp;&nbsp; Keep in mind that that my end result is probably<br \/>\ngoing to be around 110 pages.&nbsp; But you know, the shorter I can<br \/>\nmake it and end the story&#8230; the better \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>12:26 AM &#8211; Things aren&#8217;t looking good for Phoenix Blair.&nbsp; But<br \/>\nthey&#8217;re looking better for my hair.&nbsp; I am on page 81, and I am<br \/>\nabout to reach the end of act 2, in which Phoenix gives himself over to<br \/>\nShay.&nbsp; Will Phoenix realize the error of his ways before it&#8217;s too<br \/>\nlate?&nbsp; Who knows.<\/p>\n<p>1:46 AM &#8211; I seem to be slowing down.&nbsp; 85.&nbsp; Almost to<br \/>\n86.&nbsp; I fear the ending will be somewhat anti-climatic.&nbsp; That<br \/>\ncan be fixed in a rewrite.&nbsp; Stay focused to the task at hand&#8230;<br \/>\nfinishing the first draft.&nbsp; finish&#8230; finish&#8230; finish&#8230;.&nbsp;<br \/>\nall right, i&#8217;m going to get back to writing.<\/p>\n<p>2:30 AM &#8211; I am at the very bottom of 89.&nbsp; Someone is dead, 2<br \/>\nothers are rather incapacitated.&nbsp; the phoenix is about to be<br \/>\nreborn.&nbsp; It seems like only one person could save him now&#8230; but I<br \/>\nknow that that is not what is going to happen.&nbsp; It&#8217;s time to find<br \/>\nout exactly what will happen instead.<\/p>\n<p>3:40 AM &#8211; I am finished.&nbsp; I have not proofread anything, but I<br \/>\nmade it to the end, and while I am sure the ending is not as good as it<br \/>\ncan one day be, it is at least done.&nbsp; So vote away, what becomes<br \/>\nof my hair is now in your hands.&nbsp; Personally, I am going to sleep.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I forgot how good butterfingers are.&nbsp; I far too often neglect them.
