So apparentyly this guy<\/a>
\nthinks it would be a good idea if the calendar was identical every
\nyear.  This means, for example, March 7th would always be on 
\na wednesday.  Christmas and New Years would always fall on
\nsunday.  That’s weird<\/p>\n

What’s weirder is that to keep it in line with the seasons, every 5 or
\n6 years (similar to leap years in the Gregorian calendar) there would
\nbe an additional week-long mini-month, which he has dubbed “Newton
\nWeek.”<\/p>\n

He also proposes everyone switching over to GMT, rather then having seperate time zones, etc.<\/p>\n

This is all interesting and I would think maybe it could happen
\neventually, but I think it’s really funny that his target date for
