anyway, i got linux running last night… beyond any point i’ve had
\nlinux running before…ie, I could get on the internet…. but i am not
\nsure about my choice of distro… not that it’s particularly hard
\nto use… it seems the equivalent of previous distros I have tried to
\nuse (Redhat, Mandrake), but… it has virtually no support… whether
\nfrom they themselves or from community…. there is only a forum
\nwhere I have recieved limited help. So I might switch back to
\nMandrake or Red Hat… for that reason. But I dunno. I
\nwould like to get to the point where I can use primarily that… and
\nWindows only when I absolutely had to. Anyway, I am using a
\nfairly new distro called YOPER. Oh yeah, and it would also help
\nif I could download ANYTHING precompiled for it… my attempts at
\ncompiling source code have failed… even though i followed the exact
\ndirections for doing so…. eh.. what are you going to do?<\/p>\n
I will be at Southeastern for at least one summer session. That’s
\n3 weeks of fun. 3 hour classes 5 days a week… that’s 6 hours of
\nclass a day if I take 2 classes, as I probably will. With about a
\nhalf hour for lunch. Now that’s what I call fun. I don’t
\nknow what I will take yet. I am deciding with the hardness to
\nboring ratio. the ideal class would have a small amount of
\nhardness with a small amount of boring. We want to keep these
\nnear the same level though, as I do not want to take an extremely hard
\nbut not boring class, nor do I want to take an extremely boring class
\nthat is easy. Then, we don’t want them both high either…..
\nextremely hard and boring would be the worst possible
\ncombination. You know, maybe this whole ratio thing is
\nstupid. I want an easy but moderately interesting class \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
